Devlin Child is on Death Row. He's really not very happy about this, especially since he hasn't committed any actual crime and also the UK banned the death penalty decades ago.
However, he's going to be even less happy when he realises this is all manipulation by the powers of darkness, who for some reason have decided that a scrawny teenager is the perfect candidate for the being the next Antichrist (after the last one messed-up and - like totally, dude - forgot to end the world).
And he's going to be absolutely miserable when he finds out that this is just one more move in Godopoly, as the world's gods enter the final stages of their ancient and terrible game.
Can Devlin do anything to stop this, supported only by his stoned prison warder who's been turned into an imp?
And can anyone stop Devlin if he chooses to embrace his destiny?
